About

A local engineer, not a reseller.

Southwest Blueprints began as a blueprint drafting firm in Santa Fe. The AI practice applies the same discipline to your systems: measured, documented and built to code.

About the founder

Founder, Southwest Blueprints LLC · Santa Fe, New Mexico

I am a Santa Fe local and the founder of Southwest Blueprints. Before adding AI services, I spent six years as a senior systems administrator keeping networks, servers and accounts running for organizations that could not afford downtime, and the last two years configuring and maintaining AI systems in enterprise environments.

My background is network and systems engineering and cybersecurity audits. That shapes how I work: I start with an audit of what you have, I put security controls in before AI goes on top, and I document everything so you are never locked in to me.

The drafting side of the business is still here. It is why trades and construction is our anchor industry: I know plan sets, revisions and permit packets from the inside, and I build tools that work with them.

What I do

  • Network and systems engineering: firewalls, Wi-Fi, identity, backups
  • Cybersecurity audits and remediation planning
  • Enterprise AI configuration: cloud tenants, on-prem model servers, gateways and logging
  • Ongoing maintenance with documented response times
  • Blueprint drafting for builders and architects

How we work

Principles

Security first

Audit before automation. MFA and least privilege on everything.

Fixed scopes

Written scope and fixed fee before work starts.

No lock-in

You own the hardware, accounts and documentation.

Honest advice

If AI is not the right answer, the assessment will say so.

Next step

Start with an assessment.

One to two weeks, on site, fixed fee. You get a written report, a risk register and a ranked list of AI use cases. The fee is credited toward any build.
